					<description>Saturating the wood is not a good idea. The veneers swell with the excess water. Fancy veneers are very thin and can bend a lot before cracking. Rule of thumb is, if you can bend one sheet of veneer by hand to the bend you want, you can bend multiple layers in a vacuum bag. If you are using water based glues, the water will actually make the veneer more pliable than without.</description>

Just wondering if I wanted to get a pretty hefty bend would it make sense to soak the wood in water say over night to moisten it up before I put it in the press?
